I've got some Lambretta wheels, race grade tyres/tubes and drum brakes here. I changed to Azusa alloy wheels with the same radius but half the weight.

Any good?

Books wanted.

I've gone through 2 of the Bingelis books from cover to cover a dozen times. Has anyone got other titles I ought to read? Recommendations or are you having an early spring clean of your bookshelf. Cash or donations to your favourite charity. I'm after technical, design and practical knowledge. Thank...

Thanks, Ian.

Chipmunk/Spitfire ones? I've got a few of them here. Enough to make a small squadron. Lots of Spit switchgear.
Can you mail me a pic to see if they are the same?

I drive 757/767s out of Cardiff. When I went 'upstairs' to have a chat they told me that they didn't have Mode-S readout from their radar head.

Shares in grass strip in Vale of Glamorgan?

I've finally received my cheque from my insurance company and can now afford to 'get flying' again. Would anyone be interested in shares in a strip? I haven't got anything lined up but am trawling the auctions for something suitable. I'm just west of St Athan.

Q. Is it mandatory to switch your Mode-S on if you have one? If it isn't on then they wouldn't be able to see you. If so, they couldn't charge you. Is this not another example of 'not thinking ahead' in the same vein as the idea that you can't fit a mode-A/C after [whenever this year] so you'll pref...
