Robin 440
I have for sale a Robin 440 it would be suitable for an SSDR project. I bought it to go into a project that didn't happen. It was rebuilt and ran very well, it has a toothed belt reduction gear and has an expansion chamber exhaust, I sealed it in plastic after oiling it up so it should be in the sam...

Wassamer Jodel Pitot /static head.
Following a difficulty to get decent ASI readings from the pitot that I fitted (LAS supplied alloy tube one) on my D112 with C90 I have decided that the only way to get a decent setup is to use the one that was fitted in the past by the makers, it is a large lump of brass on a steel stalk with a qui...

Wet wet wet
The weather over the past few month has not allowed any flying from a lot of strips, but the damp atmosphere has taken it toll of your aeroplane! Water has accumulated in the fuel tank, the battery has lost a load of charge, the condensation has built up in the wings and fuselage, it is everywhere a...

Just a side track, Do not forget that the vote is for people living in Scotland including Poles etc, 90% of all Scots, live in the rest of the World, who have no say.

Re: LAA Website
The only thing about the website is that too few people actually use it there are times I go on and there is nothing new or anything of interest. I hope that more people would contribute to it, there is a a whole raft of knowledge in the LAA and it would help a lot if some of it was broadcast. Any c...

start again?
I posted this in the questions about training but it doesn't appear to have been seen so I ask again here. After losing my class one medical and professional licence (CAA) I want to carry on flying in my annex 2 plane, (Jodel) I hold an old UK lifetime PPL from a long time ago . 1971 issue I have be...

I have been advised I need to do the complete NPPL course from scratch if my currency is out over ten years to revalidate my PPL. OR can I do...

Medical changes
Now I have just been to a local AME with a view to get a medical to get back into the air after losing my CPL back in 1992. However All I wanted is to get a NPPL with solo flight privileges. This has ceased and he tell me that without a whole raft of medical test to prove my status I will not get A ...

Re: Kitfox ferry flight
I see that the "ferry " flight got solved OK when it disappeared from the field on a trailer.
Hope all went OK but the ferry fare must have cost a bit with the trailer and car.
If I still had a medical I would have done it for the fun.

For sale items
I was thinking that the for sale section is for things up to a £100 and that is a bit tight. There must be a lot of small items out there worth more than that, but not worth putting up for sale in the magazine as the ad would be a large chunk off it. Could it possibly be put up, to allow more tradin...

Re: Workshop ventilation
A large box (tea chest) filled with straw as a filter will cut down a lot of it if you direct an extractor through it.
