I'll be there .... Popham seems to be magnetic to my aeroplane for some reason? I keep aiming for other places but fly-ins at Popham always seem to coincide with my time off and reasonable weather.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I made the fatal mistake of taking my wings off a couple of months ago to clean up the struts and only managed to get them back on today! I'm missing all this superb weather. The T31 will be ready to fly in a couple of days ... so sorry in advance as the weather is now gaur...

If not used on their limits, and calibrated correctly at around the weight the aicraft is likely to exert at each point, bathroom scales are fine. I think all of us who've expressed an interest, were sent a pre-registration pack yesterday. My registration cheque will be posted tomorrow and so it will soon be an "official" project. Unfortunately my job puts a bit of a dampner on my being able to take much of an active roll. However, I support the idea of a web strut and would certainly be a member. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I'm not so sure the F12 is approved as a three seater over here.? Many three and four seaters of various types are about, but they tend to be restricted to two seats and a big baggage payload. You could check the approved list for four seaters maybe? However, as I said before, a call to engineering ...

I'd guess it probably is as the Falconar F11 I used to share had a set of their plans with it. That doesn't automatically mean they have the rights over the Turbi, but I'd guess they probably do if nobody else does? I'm waffling :oops: Anyway, a quick call to engineering should put you straight :) _...

I did just as Nick said with my Leburg and have had no problems. It can be hard to get the lead but often older traditional garages still keep some. If I remember, it has to be carbon type, not copper ... but I'm sure you know the details.
