It is one I have a sample pdf for the trial digitization of our magazines.
The full magazine is 17Mb so too big to send but I have cut it down to the essentials at just over 3 Mb including the article and Francis' comment on it.
Just pm your email address and I will send it

I suspect that the name Supermarine has been available for years since it was abandoned as a brand name at the time of BAC and had ceased to be an independent company as far back as 1928 when it became part of Vickers-Armstrong. I think you are more likely to to incur legal attention if they had cal...

In LAA judging terms the Mk26 Spitfire is a replica as is the Isaacs Fury and the Titan Mustang. What the kit built Spit is not is a Vickers-Supermarine Spitfire and that is the one we like to look at and above all listen to. A 12 cylinder Jab or other engine does not hold a candle to the real thing...

I am sure that no one in the UK has yet.
I visited the Rotec factory in October and looked at the production of this and the 7 and 9 cylinder radial engines.
look at http://www.rotecaerosport.com/products/lch/

If you do take picture of your project please file a near completion shot and later a prior to first flight shot on the the LAA PhotoLibrary web site and a nice Air to air shot if you get around to it. Then send Project News (Adrian ) a copy for the magazine. If you make a video please inform Projec...

LAA RALLY 2011
In checking the photos we have against the Sywell ATC visitor list I notice the following are missing. Can any one supply me with a photo of these aircraft at the Rally. We have images of them at other events. Reg Type G-ARXT JODEL 1050 G-AVWD PA-28 G-AWFP CONDOR G-AXJI BEAGLE PUP G-AZGA JODEL D120 ...

As Graham says it is possible but assemble some evidence quietly and then talk to Francis. As I said writing to your MP, the Daily Mail to demand your rights will not help since the law is clear and we may loose some of what we have gained. There is sympathy for our cause in the authorities and bein...

Nice idea Bill but aviation safety is covered by international convention. We work under a concession at national and European level. We have no right to demand exemption from these international rules but over years we have been allowed to fly equipment that would not be possible to operate under a...

As Ian has said the EASA rules that have allowed so called orphan aircraft to be covered by Annex II and thus looked after nationally by organisations such as LAA are severly limited. If any organisation wants to retain the type certificate then it will never be available for transfer to LAA. That i...

So am I confused. It is admitted that the charter has some inconsistances which I hope will get sorted out at the next NC on the 19th Nov. Why anyone would sign a document that needs to be changed is beyond me. Get it right and acceptable to the NC and I am sure Wessex and the rest of us will sign. ...

Guernsey Register
There has been recent talk in the Guernsey press that they are about to set up their own register but we do not know the letters yet. I expect it will be for exec jets and not our type of aircraft since the aim is a revenue stream not a service to local aviators. Pity since it would be nice to see h...

Add your Fly-In to LAA Reports
LAA Photo Reports We have had the photo reports running as a part of our website for over one year but we are anxious to see it used more by the LAA Clubs. It is a simple web based photo facility where you can upload a simple report and a collection of photographs of a club event as an extension of ...
