The bolts only hold the inserts in place for the main spar andif you need material to remake the insert bushes I have a large length of steel rod of the correct spec in my garage.

Together with Harry Hopkins I have just produced a new draft set of regulations which we can discuss at the next NC - this task we took on at the last meeting but the Rally with all the trophies and judging activities + paid work and annual holidays it has been delayed. I expect to get it circulated...

Its a project we are working on in the heritage group. We will be able to make searches of the pdf files we make of the back issues but it is some way off.
There are no indexes of PF but mike hallam of Rans mail fame may know and he will no doubt answer soon.

All I can add is I would agree with Nigel and since there were two registered Saphir projects in the UK we may have stumbled accross the other.

I suspect the way the title is set up is more to link it into search engines and sectors in the eBay catalogue than an apparent lack of knowledge.

As Brian says the tool makes it expensive if you need to do it. I have come across Dzus fastners with a built in small Al backing plate that you can glass into the cowling. I am assuming that we are talking about a glass fibre cowling as on a Jodel.
