Its crap. This has been done to death on all the other forums. I imagine there are more people going across the channel witout a flight plan now than there ever has been. Its so easy to use Olivia, clear customs at Calais , file onward by phone( Belgium, Germany etc) and be on your way in less time ...

I have a full list of participants from Gilbert. Problem is 70% register within the last two weeks. Thank you for those trying to help , but with respect it is easier if one person takes control or we risk the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. Be assured I am in daily ( hourly) con...

ST.Omer...URGENT

Following up my letter to the French authorities and talks to the guys at St.Omer, Phillipe and the crew are on the case to get a blanket exemption for factory built permit a/c for the fly in in September. We urgently need numbers to strengthen the case. If you are put off going, or know anyone else...

I have written to the French authorities asking for a blanket exemption for St.Omer.
Don't know if it will do any good, have had receipt acknowledged, lets see what happens.

From the info given , it would seem that you can rule out the mags which would normally mean fuel. Two suggestions so far are valid and would produce the symptoms, Low fuel level in the carb would reduce flow at full chat and inadvertant carb heat would defineatly do it.It is possible for the flap t...

You said replaced with new mags, are they brand new or just new to you?
Could be a coil/ condenser problem.
Have you still got the old ones?
Have you changed any of the fuel lines lately ? ( the old "flap" gotcha).
What prop have you got and what static rpm?
Was it Ok before you changed the mags?

I would have thought that most jodels ( especially 112 varients) would have been rebuilt by now (and cubs as well) by their owners. As this would have precluded them from being operated on a C of A prior to EASA, I don't see how they can still be classed as factory built. Given that the French have ...

I imagine there are people who are members of both the LAA and BMAA that read this forum. If so can anyone tell me if the idea has been proposed to the relevant council involved or any contact made with any of the inhabitants of Wooton Basset bfore hijacking their "event" ? (Maybe event is not the r...

You should only get max rpm on a fixed pich prop in a dive. If it goes to max rpm in level flight it will be ineficient in cruise.
I test flew this plane several years ago and was suprised by its performance and lovely handling.
If it still has the same prop as it had then I would leave it alone! :D
