I have an EFS 3 throttle body. Unused and unfitted.
I would like to swap it for an EFS 2.
Thanks phil.

Re: Ellison EFS-2 Throttle body.
I have an EFS3A unused. £800 if it will do. I understand they will function at less than 85HP with some fiddling.

Re: Continental C series crankcase modification
I would think it's not difficult to do provided you can obtain the design drawings. Any old school engineering machine shop could do it, mine included.

Re: Flying after permit/annual expiry
You would probably need at least a part inspection and that would require the sanction of the LAA.
I had to fly to France to do inspect a cub prior to it being flown back to the UK.
Ask Malcolm Mcbride for advice.

Re: Sprite Aviation Merlin 582
My experience of flying my 582 Kitfox is that properly installed maintained and checked, they will give little problems. I have 1000 + Hrs mostly on 2 strokes with no great issues except for those caused by fuel starvation or ignition faults on the early points engines. I have worked on many of the ...

I have done a few and have all the gear to do it.
I guess you will also require the barrel register increasing?
If you are not sorted, give me a ring

VW Ali engine barrels with iron liners
Has anyone attempted this as I am about build a 2.3 litre flywheel drive engine for my Kitfox.
I am researching interference fit's etc, so any suggestions would be welcome.
As I recall the BSA gold stars had ali barrels with cast iron, meehanite or ductile iron liners, so not impossible.
