Hi Nigel, you state it is illegal but can you point to the actual legislation. I note that an aerobatic version of the UL engine, the UL260iSa 105 Hp Injected aerobatic engine ( inverted oil system), is to be available soon.
Is anyone planning an aircraft capable of using this engine ?

Upside down, hanging in your straps and probably in a confined space does not seem to be conducive to axe swinging. Perhaps a battery pwred hammer drill ? When it happened to me the canopy broke and I had to dig my way out (good reason for maintiaining a slim profile) so perhaps a broad axe could do...
