Hi Martin, might be a bit cantankerous but an appeal to the European Courts might be needed to shake the CAA.

I would like to join with others on the tannkosh do. (based in NW)

I understand that they are all now on or moving to the LAA.

I also learnt on them in the seventies, Doncaster, and if only I had hangarage up in the NW I'd love to be in a group on one.

My experience is similar to that of rogcal and covers can chafe in strong winds. Our Cessna lives outside without covers apart from blanks over front of engine and seems OK as long as well polished. Has had a respray lately and has had some corrosion treated. Equation comes down to cost of hangarage...

There could be a significant safety issue with "non members" flying a permit aircraft. If there is one member with say, six others in the group, should the member not take action over an urgent mandatory modification, this would put the others at risk. If they all were members, they would each rece...

Is this something the LAA are or should be actively trying to counter? ""Your following email regarding the subject matter has...

lee on solent

"On the matter of Lee on Solent, Hampshire Police Authority decided at their meeting yesterday to set user charges at £550 per annum inc VAT with microlights paying half that. That's for a landing card. I'd argued that a fair comparator was the £235 inc VAT charged at Hestridge (also unlicensed with...
