It's better as fuel in my tank for another half an hour's flying than in somebody else's pocket I think. I suppose so. Except that if the "ot...

I'm not sure that ten quid or so makes enough difference in the grand scheme of things to choose another airfield over an organised fly-in.

They're an "excuse" not a "reason" to go somewhere in my book! A fly-in is a better excuse still...

Leia, getting it in is not the problem ------------ my old mate always got in there, getting it out was always his problem (a Zenair 601 hds) Without looking at the numbers I'm pretty sure I usually use less to get out than in. With only scrawny me aboard anyway. That might, of course, have more to...

Would like to come but too timid to try and get into 400 metres in the tommyhawk. One for you guys wi...

It was quite simple (although time consuming) to enter a few postcodes into google so that they appear as pins which open out giving details of the inspector. Google Maps LAA Inspectors test I wa...

Forgot to mention -- the not being able to bookmark individual pages is a well known problem with the frame-based design that has been chosen. Try right clicking on the link to the page you want to bookmark and select Open in new window (or new tab). The resulting apge should ahve the full URL displ...
