Get a copy of Trade a Plane - there are a couple of dealers who still do spares for the Lycoming 145. They will send parts over here but you may need to send dollar travellers cheques over which isn't too bad a way of paying.

Just spoke to said chap and he confirmed that for older, unverified piggyback licences, you need to fill in the verification form and send it to Oklahoma. I have spoken at length with Tom and he is offering to process the paperwork for £50 which, given that the FAA charge around $65 process fee is v...

You don't need planning permission provided it satisfies the requirements of permitted agricultural development - available on your local planning website and discusses things like location, purpose, constr...

If you know what you will do on your panel for sure - we planned ours using Experimental Air and had it water jet cut. After that we painted it and had all the markings screen printed - very happy and it cost us about £40.

Could always get one in the States and get it shipped through a 3rd party though.

The sad thing is that these drones will be able to navigate and conduct their evil deeds very accurately. All of the modern aeroplanes that we operate for commercial flights have these systems, we are FANS, GPS, CPDLC, ADS....... whatever the acronym is, they work and work well. I object to the fact...
