NPPLs in France
The DGAC requested a few amendments to the paperwork; I re-submitted the revised paperwork last week. This must then be formally presented by the CAA for DGAC acceptance. More news as soon as we get it. The intent was to have everything in place for early summer. I appreciate that it seems to take a...

Nigel, The "company" will pay for either! The main disadvantage is the following: UK ATPL: In built IMC privileges, therefore no IMC test required. JAR-FCL ATPL: No in built IMC privileges. Your IR is a multi-pilot IR. Therefore, if you want to use IMC privileges (including reduced VFR minima) in yo...

NPPL Exemption for Jersey and Guernsey

I should point out that this was not a sole effort, but was completed by a team from both the ...

As such the instructor must be fully qualified and current (licence, class rating and instructor qualification, together with differences completed) to fly the aircraft. Dear Mike, Article 11 (4) was inserted into the ANO in order to allow microlights and gyroplane training to be legal without the need for an exemption. The required permissions are included on the aircraft's Permit to Fly. Flight tests are legal in SEP/SSEA Permit to Fly aircraft if un-remunerated. ...

Dear LAA members, The AIC follows a meeting I arranged with the CAA to clarify a number of issues with training on LAA aircraft. This AIC deals with remunerated training in LAA aircraft. The LAA also hold an exemption which permits remunerated training beyond the scope of this AIC for the Pilot Coac...
