The occasional shower isn't a problem, but you really do need to look after them.

That's fantastic news. NOW I am really looking forward to the weekend. The most important question now has to be " Whose getting the first round in on Friday night?"

Fair enough Brian. It does seem that a National Rally is wanted and I think needed if we are to retain and attract members. My thoughts on the Sherburn Rally were that 1 flag and a banner across a fence didn't constitute much.Sherburn did a decent job. Stuart Mac did make himself know to me as I am ...

Mr Hope. I assume thats what you want to be called. I haven't even started to take the piss yet. When I do you will be the first to know. If you don't get a touch of sattire because of your inability to see and accept anyone one elses view other than your own then shame on you. I am no Welshman or M...

I am going over to Sherburn in the car this morning and am already dissapointed. Like the government the LAA is supposed to be democratic and if the members don't like it they can change it if there is a will. Sadly there doesn't seem to be (plenty of moaners though). I want a National Rally with un...

I think this has been done to death now. It appears to me that LAA members don't like the slots/ airside access. I agree, but as it's " Sywell revisited" nothing can be done. However it does seem that the great unwashed on looking at the website will naturally assume the LAA are actively involved. O...

Unfortunately I am going to have to reconsider visiting Sywell Revival having now read and digested the rules for attending. I hesitantly prebooked my slot, but now that there is no airside access for visitors I feel that is no longer in the spirit of the LAA nor indeed my idea of a rollocking good ...

I may sound a bit thick, but heres my question(s). Why not Flexwing at the Fly-in? I think a couple of Microlighters might feel unwelcome at Elstree if they can't fly there. Why does this cause friction between BMAA and LAA? Is it a Strut rule or an Elstree rule? I have absolutely no issue with Micr...

Yes Brian I do too, The french (NPPL) is similar enough to ours for there to be no real reason not too. Unfortunately anecdotal evidence is much like a verbal agreement.........not worth the paper it's not written on. A full and official agreement on both sides is hoped for, but I suspect that we wi...

 I took my NPPL as opposed to the JAA PPL after reading all the info on each regarding the privileges. I knew that in the next 2-3 years I will be able to cross the wide stream on a (LPL) European Leisure PPL, so I am now confused why others believe they can do so now. I do think that altho...
