Re: Terrier Tailwheel
Airspares 80 on ebay had a spring for sale that didn't go so give him a PM. As to the wheel is it castoring on the Terrier as per the rest of the Auster fleet? If so I have a complete Maule assembly that should fit OK as I had it on my J5 for a while. If the spring is not broken it's dead easy to re...

Draughtsman wanted
We are trying to get drawings made from an existing crankshaft and a limited amount of original information from the manuals The laser scanning idea looks very expensive. So any retired techies out there want to fund their project by helping us out send me a PM. Autocad or Turnocad will be fine but ...

Has anyone got a spinner for a Fairey Reed prop on an Auster please? I only need to front "skull cap" part as mine cracked beyond repair.

CH 4 MOSQUITO PROGRAM
If you missed this, well done! What a pile of crap. OK at the end but why did we have survivors reading parts of the Victor comic for heavens sake? Let them tell their stories, they won't be here for ever. Nice aircraft and as they have the jigs now I wonder how long before they build some more?

I don't know how many people watched this on Sunday but the presenter who is supposed to be a professor is way off beam at times. He referred to slats as primarily drag producing devices when they are primarily lift increasing devices. Then he said a washer had been left out which is why the bolt ca...

Re: ICOM A2 radio headset adaptor and sidetone
The snag is that without sidetone from the radio you are going to have to build a pre amp and feed some of the output back to your headphones. You could get an intercom kit from Maplins as a suitable base but if the battery goes flat you lose all radio unless you have the ability to unplug it if nec...

Re: 8.33hz radios
Well let's not panic here folks. Just about all microlights have Icom A20s or A2s in them as they are approved and light. They must be approved as they have VORs in them. Now come 2017 they will have to be an equivalent or the entire microlight fleet goes non radio. They can't fit a panel mount 8.33...

I've noticed a fair number of people struggle with LAA types when converting from the usual club aircraft. We have an instructor system for exactly this and I thought I'd do an article on how well these work. However I can't do this on just my stories so how about people send me PMs about how they f...

ICOM A 20 Sold
I'm selling my ICOM A 20 if anyone want one. I rarely used it as it was for my Microlight and once I went group A I had a Narco in the panel. The on board batteries still hold a good charge and it's in good condition. The leatherete case however fell to bits and was binned. Send me a PM if intereste...

If you live locally to Romford I can Soda blast them for you for £40 for the set. Works brilliantly and no scratches! Give me a PM if interested.
