Hi Steve HNY
I find all theses consultations very tedious but looked through the
consultation document.
Seems to cover most aspects. So I responded with a yes to most things (I think).

Re: VW Run-in Schedule
Hi Phil and guys I found my VW Peacock run in shedule which is a guide. I can copy and send if required. This is for a 1600 but probably applies. It starts conservatively 6x 1000rpm for 10mins and up to 3200 in stages. I think I ran mine for 20hrs before flying to be safe. Long time ago but ran like...

Your quite right Chris, should be awarded. Glad I don't have to decide to whom.
Now if it had been in a VP1 with map and compass

Agree with Chris, we are a responsible lot there to enjoy the sights and sounds of our passion, any one who starts shouting about needs sorting. Would blow my top if it happened to me

Re: Clutton FRED running costs?
Chris Would wholeheartedly agree that having a VW type creation keeps you flexible and light. Would not agree that a Fred is as Flyable having heard stories of the climb rate etc. Missed the Aurthur Ord Hume lecture think the weather was poor that year. Friend John Mamby had a VP1 for many years and...

Re: Clutton FRED running costs?
Hi Brian Mono is a jump in and go sort of plane, not so comfortable these days as pointed out but great fun. Not sure the Fred would be as flyable. How old and how many hours. No microlights when I started building mine and then along came Corby Starlet,Collibri,D9,Turbulent and VP1 just to mention ...

Re: Clutton FRED running costs?
Chris so I'm old. Wouldn't call my Mono organic more Navigator after the film ( if you remember it). 8) Remember the adds, thank goodness I built a mono trouble free for 30 years, easy starting cold or hot 100mph 10-12lts hr with 1600VW. Which has just been rebuilt and fitted with Leburg ( great bit...
