Re: New member North West - PTF A/C?

After much research, deliberation and a good few miles driving, I have just bought an 1945 Aeronca Champion :D During this journey, I have made some new friends who have been fantastic at offering advice and guidance. I have learnt a lot and am looking forward to the privelage of owning and operatin...

Re: Sprite Aviation Merlin

Thanks Ian, and yes I did post the same question on Flyer forum but there were a few other posts straight after it, so it probably got missed by those who could respond. :) I made some enquires on the SkyRanger a while back, and they mentioned gaining a bit of additional carry capacity by having a B...

Re: Sprite Aviation Merlin

I loved it 8) The tail wheel variant is 10kgs lighter and makes sense to maximise useful weight, plus due to so many people asking about this version, he has decided to offer it now :) I think the three reserved ready to fly aircraft will be snapped up, and hope the kits sell well. They had a lot of...

Re: New member North West - PTF A/C?

Thanks Ian, but going to be patient and wait presently as would prefer something based at Blackpool or one of the more local strips.

I was too big for the Jodel :( , but at least I know that variant won't be suitable.

Re: New member North West - PTF A/C?

A share in a Jodel D120A has come onto the market close to me, so arranging to see this as soon as possible as it looks very nice.
Have the W&B info for it which all looks good, so just hoping it is roomy enough for me.

Re: New member North West - PTF A/C?

Hi Tony I am starting to look at these in a bit more detail now. There is a very nice looking Vagabond that has just come onto the market, and have seen a Jodel 1051 also, which looks very nice. Part of the reason for joining and going to the Rally is to have a good look around many different types ...

New member North West - PTF A/C?

Hi Just joined and thought I would pop in and say hello :) I currently fly from Blackpool and gained my EASA-PPL in June. I am currently exploring options to own and run an aircraft under PTF, and would appreciate any advice and guidance anyone has to offer. I am looking for something, probably Rota...
