Re: fuel in seats
Bob. Worth asking LAA Engineering of course. On a practical note. I was involved in a crash where my vertical speed at impact was enough to tear off U/C completely but also distorted my seat frame and seat base considerably. At 90 kg personal weight I'm sure the deceleration on impact would have sig...

Re: Vision microsystems problem
I couldn't find an Official Vision Microsystems mender. An electronics fettler might spot his predigament and offer to tinker.
I too fly a simple aircraft but have the advantage of being a simple pilot too!

Has the system got an Internal Battery to keep system settings?
Maybe that is degrading?

Re: Licence - Medical and flying to France.
Not sure what you mean Ian. I'm very senior today!
I have an LAPL and fly an Annex 2 (LAA) Aircraft. Had LAPL Class 2 Medical until June last year but blood pressure marginal so elected for Self declaration. At moment I would need Class 2 medical again to fly to France.

Licence - Medical and flying to France.
I fly a Group A Single Seat Permit Aircraft on an LAPL and now at 70+ with a CAA Self Declaration Medical. I've asked other Pilots and in every case seem to have a different answer so...... Can I fly to France with that combination? I believe I can on an Microlight NPPL with Self Declaration? Regard...

Re: 8.33 Radios
Craig Hi. Some considerations regarding 8.33Khz radio fitment. If its going into Panel then get measurement behind and add another 65mm to cover rear connections i.e. Radio Length plus 65mm. If you are non electrical (Battery Only) then power consumption needs a cursory consideration. I have a very ...
