I've just covered a landing gear frame with Oratex never having tackled anything like this before. Turned out well and was pretty easy having taken my time. I'd be confident enough to do a fuselage having done it. Have no experience of other covering methods so can't comment on them but I would use ...

I've had some interesting conversations about the undercarriage idea. Probably one for the winter now.

Clear Petrol Proof Hose for Wing Root Sight Tube

Need some clear petrol proof hose for wing root sight tube. 4-5mm inner diameter if possible. Just replaced some about 3 weeks ago with what was described as petrol proof. Now cloudy and brittle.
Have googled extensively but failed to find anything that looks trustworthy....
