Does anyone know the where abouts of G-AXZM, a friend is looking for this Typsy Nipper as his mum(Miss Mills) had a part in building it and would like to know if it is still tucked away somewhere ?

Hi Frank, the LAA/PCS offers coaching/instruction to those members which have a share or own there own aircraft, be it tailwheel or nosewheel, we do not hire out aircraft.

Hi Yes an overhaul is due at 6yrs, the same rules apply to a permit aircraft with a CSU prop (hartzel) I have mine done at MCA Shoreham airport.

Hi Tim, the 582, 2 stroke engine blue top is an improved version to help with the warming up period of the engine, in laymans terms, the Rotax 912 is a four stroke engine, both are water cooled. The 2 stroke will drink more fuel and be cheaper to purchase, the 912 will drink less and I would say it ...

Welshman, have you tried the Mile-High Sunglasses, they do prescription pair "Aviate" I use the normal shades for all my flying activities, and find them very reasonabley priced.

After a good search, managed to find a Ventus BT at my local club, have done all my checks and now have 4hrs on her, including an air start for the "Turbo", which will hopefully cut down the field landings, although I aim to pick a field first before raising the engine...you never know !!

PDA's and GPS have been used by the gliding camp for some years, I have a Mio 350 pda, with "see you mobile", that is designed more specifically for gliding, but does have airspace terrain and airports, you can load seperateinfo if requires. Most use the ipaq 4700 as it has a good processor to handl...
