John, my advice would be, let Adrian at SHM have a good look at it, you have spoken with him, but he is the one that will be able to tell you if it is the unit or another problem, money well spent in my opinion, and you can fly it in, to have it sorted.

Don't rush it Rob, always better to be on the ground with a problem than in the air looking for fields in a hurry, I had just this recently with an airtest. Luckily i found a field, no damage all round and one relieved builder!!

Finger pointing and chinese whispers are not going to make the situation any better gentleman, however the risk assesments and H&S brigade are a fact of modern life. Personally I thought the idea of an LAA course for "Airside Approval" badge for next years event for genuine enthusiasts, a great idea...

Hi , your examiner should have sorted this ? !! he will have kept a copy of the SRG 1157 form, and you should have signed as well as the examineer an SRG 1119 form , which needs to be sent to the CAA at Aviation house Gatwick Airport.

Got the rough figure today, approx 40 new members joined at the show, a good result and a lot of twitter about LAA aircraft being more afforable etc, well done to all who helped supported or otherwise.

Well done to all those that helped at the LAA Tent, the turn out of aircraft, volunteers and staff did an excellent job, would be interesting to know how many new members joined the LAA over the weekend ?

have just found out any NPPL licence post Feb 2008 will have a certificate of revalidation page in the licence holder and this must have a validation date if not they need to be signed by an examiner, those PRE Feb 2008 will not have a revalidation page, and this must be signed and a 1hr flight comp...
