Simon, when you decidied to go for your NPPL, did no one explain that it was for UK based flying only ? Upgrading to a JAR licence is not that difficult, any decent flying school should be able to answer your questions.

Nick, there is a CH701 for sale on AFORS, under 3 axis microlights, though it's group a and on a permit to fly, good STOL.
