In all seriousness, we could do with some more lobbying to help resolve the situation of production aeroplanes, no longer in build, poor support from the manufacturer that could easily be brought under the control of LAA LAA. This was talked about some time ago but nothing seems to have happened. My...

We use Jennings - they put us on a Norwich Union policy which covers us up to 45,000 GBP. The premium is under a hundred a year from memory.

Yuasa 17Ah sealed battery - about £35, fitted one to our Christen Eagle. Would give at least 5 start attempts on an IO-360 :D

Nice, light, cheap.

Yet another example of the Southist attitude of the Ministry - Hah 8)

Setting the security doesn't affect things. As others have commented - my laptop keeps me logged in, my PC doesn't. Both have the same system on them and I am not aware of any settings differences.

Brought to the top for further suggestions please.

Most BB's either have top or side advertising - it doesn't bother me at all and sometimes is very useful provided that the adverts are appropriate and relevant.

Does anyone know of a matching service like auto paint ? We are using butyrate as topcoat to match the previous finish and for ongoing ease of mainten...

Filter or not, unless you are doing 100 hours plus per year, you should be considering oil changes at 25 hours/4 months which ever comes first. 6 quarts at £4 a quart, less if bought in the States or through someone like Silmid is cheap maintainence. Small Continentals are even worse - no filter, I ...
