Chris, I suspect senility may be creeping up faster than age, so please could you point me towards that list of award winners? All I can find is the Rally Award winning aeroplanes on the review of the weekend.
Thanks,
errr, whoever I am.

Re: LAA x BMAA
Most of the discussion on the other place has turned towards the new name. Popularly, the old one.

After the Rally
Another good 'un. Many, many thanks to all the many volunteers and a special mention for the airside access team, who apparently took more flak than they needed from people who should know better.
I hope those who 'misunderstood' the procedures or were unaware of them find the necessary advice.

Re: Around the world in two gyros
You're right, Chris. Some folk have no limits and it's good to see what can be achieved when we think it's all been done, somehow. Those who frequent Flyer forums will have seen Katamarino's round the world trip, described a day at a time. He's flown in one day what would be a huge achievement itsel...

Re: 2019 Rally
Just out of idle curiosity, I wonder how many attendees by air are not members. From what I've seen, very few, I imagine. Are there any figures?

Re: Amanda Harrison solo to Australia in a Tiger Moth
Latest news is a bird strike on the spinner. I hope it's not too long a pause.
Amanda could probably do with a little more support.

Brian Mayo
Sad news. Brian died on Sunday, after a very short stay in hospital. As there are many aeroplanes on the register that he maintained, recovered, built or rebuilt over the decades, his reach & reputation was wide. I hope the mods will allow me to use this forum to try to reach some of those who knew ...

Re: Claim re contribution towards the cost of 8.33 kHz radio
As I understand it, there has been just one chap doing the whole refund thing. Bob, for it is he, has been responsive to enquiries, helpful and unfailingly cheerful in his e-mails. It's not the people but the organisation that would appear to require a huge shake up (such that more people end up at ...
