How about this as a stupid halfway compromise. To use Forum you have to be an LAA Member? If that is the case then those who want to remain anonymous can use there LAA Membership Number only but the Moderator will be able to check and know ID. In the event of 'flaming' or inappropriate comments he c...

Exhaust Valves for Continental O-240

Martin Contact these people by Telephone or better still e-mail. Say exactly what you want. The Rolls Royce version was built under license and is a Continental O240. I've just had all items required to top overhaul an A75. Great service. The Company is 60+ years old and the proprietor, Robert Crisp...

I have a Becker 4201 in an open cockpit, non electric Aircraft (Battery Box).
It is excellent and especially combined with Lynx Avionics Headset.

Hi.
Anybody using or know of the whereabouts of
Continental A75-8 Ser. No: A75/SN494016B.
I could do with knowing about it due to CAA interest regarding my Engine Registration details.

Nigel Hi. Sell the Europa and Long-Eze and choose a CAA Type. It's that easy if you don't like LAA regulation. With prices 30% down you're on a winner! The help and guidance building an Aircraft given by Inspectors far outweighs the small costs of their visit. Yes I have built one and refurbished tw...

Make that call. Unless you are in dialogue already with some communication rules in place you will wait a long time before contact to you is made. The LAA are busy but the speed of Renewals which is excellent cannot be matched or indicative of the speed of initial Permit. The CAA are in this loop to...

I wouldn't say it's particularly normal but it can and does happen.
It's possible to talk to someone in Engineering between 2pm and 4pm to see what the hold up is. If it's a less common Aircraft some delays can happen if any specification added is new to LAA. Make a call.
