Wondering what is the best equipment for paint spraying traditional nitrate and butyrate dopes.
Has anyone any experience or recommendations whether HVLP systems using a turbine or conventional compressor spraying being better. Gravity fed or siphon? Comments welcome.
Thank you, David

Re: Electronic tacho
Hi John, The diagram shows a small icon picture of an alternator, with no mention of a magneto, however, if it works that would be brilliant as the magneto switch is right next to the tacho! The diagram of the hookup on an RV would be very helpful, I dare say electronic tacho’s are very similar in t...

Electronic tacho
I would like to change my Walter Mikron III tacho from mechanical to electronic, mainly due to routing difficulties. I have bought a suitable indicator, (sadly of Chinese origin!) but there is no clear suggestion of how or where to connect the black signal wire. The diagram shows a picture of a sens...

Re: Jodel 1050
Having had a great deal of trouble last time we tried bleeding our 1050, it was suggested that we raise the tail REALLY high and leave overnight, it worked. The object of the exercise is to put the master cylinders so the rear is higher than the front, allowing those pesky trapped bubbles to flow up...

CherryLock Rivet gun
Does anyone have a CherryLock rivet tool (G700, G784, or G689 with a H681-4C pulling head) that they are willing to lend/ hire for a week or two? I have approx 100 rivets to close but cant really justify spending £1000 on a tool I may never use again! I am Sussex based.

Re: Firewall cover
Tony, Sounds like a product called Fiberfrax. I bought a length from Aircraft Spruce about 20 years ago for my firewall. Not sure if they still sell it. The product is still available from the manufacturer. See this site

Re: Unable to renew membership online
Yes, I had the same problem over the Christmas period. The form reverts to American style date and then rejects the application as incorrect. In the end I did a bankers transfer!
