Re: After the Rally
Mike et al, we want feedback if there are issues that detract from your pleasure at the Rally, so please do shout, not too angrily please, or we won't know you are displeased. The airside gate and the apron are already on the agenda. On the former, I agree with Nic, it is manned by volunteers who do...

Re: After the Rally
"Don't you bloody well know who I am". I expect you say this in jest Chris but fact is I cringe if I hear such words. I am a passionate believer in equality and everybody getting a fair crack. I expect no more nor less than any other LAA member, we are all human beings who deserve to be treated wit...

Re: After the Rally
Mr Hope.... blimey that's a bit formal Mike me ol' mate. The last person to call me Mr Hope was a policeman who had just chased me down the M20. Cost me a hundred quid and three points. By coincidence I received the report this morning, much sooner than usual. I will ask Sywell if they are OK with m...

Re: After the Rally
Let's just say I was more than a little unhappy about the apron issue and words have already been spoken about it and I am hopeful we can have a far more common sense approach next year. On Sunday morning, and as it happens it was following my raising the issue the evening before, I was literally tw...

Re: After the Rally
Hi Michael, I get a listing from Sywell in a week to ten days but I do not know who else gets it. We don't usually publish it I'm afraid. I don't doubt that Air Britain, or a similar organisation if there is one, will have some sort of listing but perhaps somebody who's a member will respond. Best r...

Re: G-INFO and "Cleared to fly" Light Aviation
Hi Mark, when members start a project they have the option to tick a box saying they prefer to keep their details private. Personally I think it's a shame that people decide to do this as it against the spirit of what I see our Association is all about - communication and helping each other and reso...

Re: Dogs ! Can I take my dogs with me to the rally ?
Hi Nigel, to clarify, yes you can bring the dogs but they must be kept on a lead and they are not allowed airside (airside does not include the exhibition area). I hope you and the dogs have a great visit to the Rally.
Best regards, Brian.

Hi Tony, no I don't get an email. I'll call John or Pen after the Rally to see if I can sort it out.

Re: Future of the Forum
Sorry Dave, unless people tell me I have a personal message I don't go looking for it. Email is the best way to contact me. I did have a chat with John Dean, the moderator (that makes him sound like a wrestler, doesn't it), about type specific subjects but as he pointed out, practically all of those...

Sorry the fee table has not been in the last couple of issues as Safety Spot has been having a rest. Afraid it's not in the September issue that went to press today, but Malcolm will be back for October.

Re: LAA Rally 2019 Booking Deleted
Hi Matthew, I'm sorry to hear about the problem with your slot time and have spoken to Sywell about it, as the booking system is operated wholly by Sywell on their website. They confirmed you did indeed make a successful booking on the 30th but are at a loss to understand why it dropped off the syst...

Re: LAA Rally 2019 Duplicate bookings.
Hi Clive, that seems a reasonable enough idea although it does complicate things at a busy time for the tower. It's certainly worth asking so I'll talk to Sywell about it.
Thanks, Brian
