I couldn't find it either. The original site that I copied it from doesn't have access either; a pity!

Ultralight flies into Ferris Wheel in Oz

As no-one was hurt in this incident.......

BBC News: An ultra-light plane has crashed into a Ferris wheel in a
village north of Sydney, trapping four people, Australian officials say.

Some people dream of being a pilot, others simply fail to see the
attraction.

How the hell can a milking stool fall into a fuel tank? Strange place to milk a cow :) We gathered that a small Japanese engineer had been sitting in the tank, scrubbing it! Good advice from Mr Hope. I'm in MK and thus the camera as well! Hopefully there will be someone more local who has o...

Dipstick!

Rather a long time ago, I was working for Dan Air. I was present when a fuel gauge problem was being investigated and resulted in a wooden milk stool and a broom being found in the fuel tank of a Japanese Airlines a/c which had been flying commercial routes for some time! Where are you based? I have...

http://www.shadowowners.flyer.co.uk/ If you haven't found them already, the Shadow Owners Club used to be a pretty buoyant outfit (I used to run the club up to around 1992). I took a look and the website hasn't been updated since 2010 however, but there are plenty of email addresses and phone number...

I'm afraid the Sywell strut is non-existent (I think). I live in MK and fly from Hulcote Farm near Cranfield. Nearest strut to me is Bedford way.

You could of course try and resurrect the Sywell Strut! I have a feeling they went below the required 10 members, but I'd consider joining!

The rally was indeed a great success from every point of view. Brian, Ian and I received a lot of positive comments and it's important to thank the many volunteers and Sywell folk who made it all possible. We will be having a Rally Wash-Up meeting to see what we can improve BUT the one thing we can'...
