Hi Ian, I've used West Systems epoxy to good effect. Happy to chat.

RSA/UML Forum?
Is anyone here able to help with posting a query on an RSA or French UML forum, please? A friend is trying to identify a single seat pusher homebuilt he saw at the RSA Vichy rally in 2016 and the usual fonts of all knowledge (Brian and Nigel) have drawn blanks.
Thanks,
Mike

Colin, if you get no response here, try the Yahoo Jodel Group. Plenty of experience there.

Re: Air Courtage - "LAA insurance"
A Devon Strut member who is over 76 has been refused passenger cover for his Tecnam by Air Courtage's underwriters unless the pax is a qualified pilot. Air Courtage acknowledged that this was baseless but could do no more negotiations on his behalf so he's gone elsewhere.

Emeraude Fiche
Can anyone point me to an online version of the Piel CP301B fiche (no 28), please? It used to be on an earlier version of the LAA datasheets but is no longer there. If an electronic version is not forthcoming, does anyone have a hardcopy that could be scanned?
thanks, Mike

For my Jodel D117, I used a couple of bottle jacks and some spare timber to to create the stands show at https://photos.app.goo.gl/89xY2xIwW65UwnmO2 , the idea being first attributed to John Brady. You might be able to adapt the design to your Minicab.

Re: 8.33 kHz Funding Claim Form published by the CAA
The CAA 8.33 funding application webpage now says, "A technical issue has caused the claim form (SRG1325) to temporarily stop working. It is currently unavailable but we are working to resolve the problems affecting the form as quickly as we can." The Submit Form button didn't work for me so I saved...

Re: AVGAS WARTER AVIATION
Of course we know it's widespread common practice, Mike, but we need to formalise it in a study to make it legal.

Re: AVGAS WARTER AVIATION
Hi Brian, this is a subject that interests me, having been instrumental in helping to get the use of mogas cleared for permit a/c back in the days of the PFA. I must have missed the invitation for volunteers to contribute to the survey of the use of mogas with ethanol in small Continentals but I'll ...
