Re: Repeal of stolen airspace LAA AGM motion by Zoom 18th Oct.

Surely the Association should help and advise on such motions to ensure clarity?

To save (lazy) me from trawling through dozens of back issues, can anyone advise the edition of the LAA mag which had instructions on how to connect an external PTT switch to a Yaesu handheld radio.

thanks

A Groppo Trail if you can find one could also suit what you want it for. Only tandem though
I would love one but sadly out of budget.
One on AFORS recently @£35k. Have no idea about Sauer engines though

Re: Ignoring PPR

I'm on Skydemon - Rolleston Park Farm. Got fattish tyres on mine. Cope with wet well but I'm cautious given my shortness, and the strip :D

Re: Ignoring PPR

In your quest for a new aircraft you may wish to consider an Easy Raider microlight if you can find one. However it is tandem and in reality a single seater with plenty of load space. Jabiru engine which can give people the shivers and maybe not quick enough at 70kt cruise. But it will do that for 3...

Re: Ignoring PPR

The ropes do make a difference as do the signs. Only the complete arseholes now blatantly walk down it leaving their crap behind.

Re: Ignoring PPR

It's 190m. If it wasn't on Skydemon no-one would know it's there and there are plenty of more suitable grass fields for a forced landing in the area. Visitors are welcome if with PPR if both they and their aircraft are capable in which case I take the ropes down which are there to discourage trespas...

Re: Ignoring PPR

My strip has ropes across the runway when not in use to keep trespassers off. Hence PPR is a good idea if anyone wants to visit

Jabiru 2200a Fuel flow meter

My fuel flow meter which feeds into a Brauniger digital panel has developed a fault of some sort and is stuck at a 5lph flow rate - the default lowest I think.

Are these serviceable or is it a replace job?

Thanks

Re: Ray Allen RP3 Trim Indicator wanted

No I didn't Alan. Not quick enough!

I was maybe going to have one as a spare too but did't think they would sell so quick. Bet mine which is fine goes iffy now.

Are you still at Calton Mooor or did you move?
