Anybody who has done any web design will tell you that Internet Explorer is the most difficult browser to design stuff for, also there are major differences between the versions of it. If a site uses standards, all other modern browsers will display OK, it's just you have to design specifics in for ...

I have been emailed a price list of 'prefabricated' items, with an estimation of shipping costs, by Peter Beck who builds them under license from David Thatcher. At the moment he can offer: Wing spars, including center section, fully assembled / riveted; Formed rib and bulkhead package (99 parts uni...

For me, a modern engine with silencer and no carb icing problems would be an attractive option.

With the inverted dry sump oil system, there's one aircraft the UL is perfect for - an aerobatic Twister 8)

From the Thatcher Yahoo Group, it has been suggested that the rudder pedal arrangement of the Harmon Rocket is studied with reference to any modification to that in the CX4 - it being of a similar design?

If it is the same, the Rocket set-up will certainly be adequately robust!

Basically you need a construction table 12" long, 3" wide and approximately 3" high (to suit your own comfortable working height) with a steel angle to one side of the table.

The aircraft is assembled and rigged on this table - just as well I've already made one then :D

My plans set and builder's manual arrived Saturday (8 day delivery from the US - not bad!) and they appear comprehensive and clear. Also, I have been in contact with my Inspector who appears keen and essentially foresees no problems - he believes he has seen one in the US. Hopefully, I will go over ...

He wasn't aware that his design was approved over here

Saw the Thatcher a while ago on the net and thought it would be a good project, but ignored it because I thought it would be years (if ever) before it came over here. Never heard a squeak about the approval until the mag landed today  There is also a Yahoo Group - don't see why a Jab couldn't ...
