Hello Luscombe,
Your post does beg the question as to why you are placing a Rotax in a French classic 1050?

Why not use 2-pack epoxy varnish; totally fuel-proof once cured.

" FWR-1 Permit to Fly revalidation application "
Please call it the Blue Form. That's what FWR Fixed Wing Renewal owners know it as.
Take care,
Rob

I believe Swiftair at Leicester are in the process of getting some Slingsby legs (unobtanium) re-chromed. They are also approved for Pups, so it may be worth having a chat with them.

....and our personal addresses are widely available in so many other areas one more isn't of any consequence. I'm not convinced of that Brian. For example, I'm not on the "open" electoral register. The only two places I'm aware of my address being in the public domain are G-INFO and the LAA Inspect...

Want to Buy: C85 cylinder
My beloved permit Taylorcraft here in the UK, with a C85, has a cracked cylinder, so I'm looking for a replacement. Any avenues/suggestions? (as an aside, I also need two A-65 cylinders, +0.015 with an EASA Form 1 or an FAA 8130) for my beloved certified Taylorcraft in the USA. They're broken as wel...

Re: permit aircraft in Spain and Portugal

Re: Sealant for fuel system pipe fittings
NPT fittings do need sealant, Bill. The threads are truncated, so there is leakage through the spiral form. That's why everyone else here is recommending a thread sealant.Bill McCarthy wrote:Why are you using a sealant ? If you are using perfectly good fittings, they don’t need sealant

If it's for a permit aircraft, use Johnson's baby oil.
