LSA hours

Can anyone advise me. Are hours flown in an LSA aircraft allowed to be counted towards my group A licence hours? I will be flying an LSA aircraft while abroad in an ICAO contracting state and would like to claim the time in my group A logbook in the UK. If I flew an LSA aircraft in the UK, the hours would go in my log book the same as a group A would they not.

Hi pbflyer,

Providing it falls within the SEP category (and not a microlight) then yes, the hours wil count.

Kind regards,

Cookie

Hi Jon,

Many thanks for confirming that for me. The aircraft is in the LSA category with an MTOW of 600kgs. It is the LSA version of the A22 Foxbat. Appreciate your help. :D
