East Midlands LAA Strut Jan 2024 Meeting

Hello and a very Happy New Year to everyone, here's hoping for a year of decent flying weather!

Nearly a month has gone by since our Strut Christmas meal, and our next meeting will be on Tuesday 7th January, 7:30pm at The Plough, Main St, Normanton on Soar, nr. Loughborough, LE12 5HB.

We will be having a Quiz on aviation related topics so put on your thinking caps and come along to The Plough to try your luck. This year, Kath Burnham and I will do a double act with around 20 questions each and I have a few books as prizes (thanks Fred Fisk!).

If you can't make the Plough on Tuesday, you can still join us remotely via the magic of Zoom, usual details below:

Hi everyone,

I have just been informed that The Plough at Normanton on Soar is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in January and February!  I'm disappointed that they did not contact me about this as I had made a booking for the 7th January in December which they had accepted. This unfortunately means that we won't be able to meet in person tomorrow evening and will have to revert to meeting on Zoom instead.
