Vale of York Strut

After receiving confirmation from LAA HQ the Vale of York strut is now official.

Please be aware that our first "official" meeting will be at Rufforth East, where Phil the Gyro will be giving us a presentation on all things gyroscopic, a tour around his small Gyro museum and a few snacks.

Wednesday 30th April 7:30 for 8pm start.

E mails to follow, but if all else fails, let me or Dave Allen know your intentions to allow us to arrange catering.

Excellent presentatoon by Phil and his team.
I am sure their professionalism in the Gyro world is contributing to the advances in flight safety and training for these machines.
Next meeting will be held at Full Sutton on Wednesday 28th May 19:30 for 20:00.
A presentation on the building of Sherwood Ranger "Spirit of Goole" will be made by Jack Milnes and the youth build project.
A fish supper to follow.

Due to the LAA Rally being held at the end of August, the Strut meeting will be held at various locations around the Sywell area. Start time will be 12:00 Friday to 12:00 Sunday.
The next "official" Strut meeting is to held at Full Sutton 19:30 for 20:00 start on Wednesday the 24th Sept.
Ivan Shaw will be there to entertain us with a presentation on his involvement in the Europa, Liberty and other aircraft.

Just a reminder to all Strut members that the next meeting on the 25th of February will be to co-ordinate and plan the 2 day Yorkshire Themed Fly in on the 8th and 9th of August.
