East Midlands LAA Strut - April 2019 Meeting

The next East Midlands LAA Strut meeting is on the 8th April, 7:30 for 8:00pm at The Plough, Main Street, Normanton on Soar, Loughborough LE12 5HB.
This month we have Colin Hales who set out to circumnavigate the globe in his home-built Rand KR2. To set out on such a quest in a factory built aircraft would be a massive undertaking (those of you who came to Gordon Moir's talk on visiting Oskosh in his Commanche single will have some idea), but to attempt it in a wooden aircraft built from plans is a significant additional challenge.
