East Midlands LAA Strut - November 2019 Meeting

Dear All,
The November meeting of the East Midlands LAA Strut will be held on Monday 11th November, 7:30 for an 8:00pm start.
As you'll have seen, electric flight is becoming more and more prominent in the aeronautical press. Our speaker for the November meeting will be Dr Mark Taylor who will be telling us about Electric Powered Aeroplanes, the myths and the reality and will shed some light on what is practical with electric and hybrid electric flight. Mark has held a number of senior positions at Rolls-Royce and has been involved in the Royal Aeronautical Society "Greener by Design" specialist group.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE AT A DIFFERENT VENUE THIS MONTH. I've booked a function room at The Swan In The Rushes, 21 The Rushes, Loughborough, LE11 5BE. I suggest you park at The Rushes NCP carpark nearby. The Swan in the Rushes website https://www.castlerockbrewery.co.uk/pub ... he-rushes/ has more details.
As per my earlier email, I am hoping we'll be able to have another Christmas buffet at The Plough on the 9th. I'm trying to get clarification over the menu as the one they've sent me appears to be their standard one rather than one for Christmas - watch this space.
