East Midlands LAA Strut Nov 2023 Meeting

Dear All,
The next meeting of the East Midlands LAA Strut will be on Tuesday 7th November, 7:30pm onwards at The Plough, Main St, Normanton on Soar, nr Loughborough, LE12 5HB. No external speaker this month but I'll put together an update on progress on my Nicollier Menestrel project, alongside drinks and aeroplane chit chat. If anyone would like to give an update on a project, or an interesting flight or visit they've made, please bring pictures/slides on a memory stick and we'll share them.
As usual, we will run a hybrid event with Zoom for those unable to get to The Plough, joining instructions below.

I'll be going to the Royal Aeronautical Society Light Aircraft Design conference in London on the 13th November. Martin Jones gave a presentation on the Comet Racer project there last year which was well received. Let me know if you plan to attend as well.
Lastly, there is an Astral Aviation Consulting event on Wednesday 8th Nov on winter flying. It is free but you have to sign up beforehand, see this link for further details.
