Lee On Solent - 18th September 2010

Post by PB » Thu Aug 26, 2010 3:11 pm

Lee Flying Association will be holding an informal fly-in at Lee On Solent on the 18th September 2010. As with the May-Day fly-in numbers will be limited and you will need PPR.

Unlike in May, there will be gliding activity on the 18th September, so please take care to read the briefing notes sent out to you before arriving at the airfield. The bookings page is now live at eghf.co.uk

We will have catering on-site with the usual bacon butties and hot drinks.

The fly-in has been timed to coincide with an Open-Day at the Lee on Solent Hovercraft Museum (which is on the airfield) and we will once again be running a vintage bus service to transport visitors to the Museum

There have been lots of developments at Lee on Solent in the last few months so why not fly-in and see what the guys from the LFA have been up to. We also have hangarage and outside tie-downs available on a long- or short-term basis.

All being well, we also plan to hold the May-Day fly-in again in 2011. Keep an eye on eghf.co.uk for more news.
