For anyone interested in a trip to Ireland this summer, why not visit the FlyingInIreland Magazine and National Microlight Association of Ireland Fly-In on August 3rd and 4th. This years fly-in will take place at Limetree Airfield, Co. Laois, Ireland over the weekend of August 3rd and 4th. All are welcome, if it flies, bring it! (it's not limited to microlights!). You are more than welcome to camp at the airfield overnight, or see the briefing pack for details of locally available accommodation. We will have live music and a bar in the hangar on Saturday night.
Permit aircraft and holders and of NPPL's are now able to visit Ireland (for up to 28 days) without restrictions / permissions etc. See details on the Irish Aviation Authority Website at https://www.iaa.ie/index.jsp?p=102&n=169 . Now you have no excuse not to come over and visit us!!
