LAA 70th Anniversary Photoshoot @ Dunkeswell Sat 7th May

Post by pizzytinzel » Wed May 04, 2016 10:49 pm

I'm extremely excited to announce that the Devon Strut will be hosting a special photo-shoot at Dunkeswell to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Light Aircraft Association, this Saturday. It's something the Strut has done before, for the 60th anniversary. It was an outstanding success, and we'd really like to repeat that success this time.

"HUGE 70"

We'll be gathering aircraft on the ground at the aerodrome at midday on Saturday to form a huge "70", which will be photographed from the air. So, it's a Strut Scramble to Dunkeswell! We'd like to invite all of you to fly in with your aircraft , or if you don't fly, come down and take part in this auspicious occasion. The more aircraft and people we have come down, the more spectacular it will be.

The Devon Strut will cover all landing fees on the day at Dunkeswell for aircraft taking part in the 70 photoshoot.

The event will be coordinated by Dave Silsbury, so if you're interested in participating, please contact him only.

As I said, the photo shoot will take place at Dunkeswell, this Saturday, 7th May at midday. Please pass this onto anyone you feel would be interested. It will be great fun and the more the merrier!

Cheers,

Chris Jackson (Devon Strut)
