Jabiru SK - Mono Joystick to Dual Joystick

I would like to know if replacing my mono joystick with a dual joystick is an acceptable modification for the jabiru SK and if the change requires any special proedures such as an application for a modification via the LAA.

Apparently all jabirus can now be supplied with a single or dual joystick at build. The J160 now fits a dual as standard.

Any info would be appreciated.
