molex crimping tool
Hi
does anyone know where to get a tool for crimping molex and other multi-connector pins at a sensible price please. I cannot find one anywhere.
I have found a video on youtube of exactly the tool but not where to get it.

On a more serious note. These sorts of tools are a pain due to the fact you only need then once in a while, yet cost the earth. Wouldn't it be nice if the LAA had a tool kit that we could hire for a small contribution plus delivery?
I did hear a rumour once there was a fund for such items already in existence?
The tool in the video should not cost anywhere near 200 notes. I have quite a few crimp tools, but not this one.

I got mine, MP71, from vehicle wiring products. see

it has done all of the general wiring connectors on my Zodiac and several things I have wired up in my day job.
VWP also have a good range of lights, switches and relays etc appropriate for 12V aircraft systems. I particularly like their electric window switches when used for electric trimmers, compare the prices with aviation suppliers for similar parts!
