SPARS is a set of notes which Inspectors have for their guidance. You mean TADS and you'll find them in the Engineering Pages. Evans Aircraft are to be found on page 4.

Hi there,
I had a look at the TADS but somewhere in the forum, regarding VW engines, is a reference to SPARS about VWs.Am I right?

From Spars " There are no standard up to date drawings available or instruction manual for converting a VW engine to PFA aircraft standards, the original Peacock drawings are now being considered obsolete"

"A special PFA inspection schedule and checklist for the assembly of VW conversions is available from (PFA) Engineering"

Again, SPARS is there for guidance of Inspectors, so contact your Inspector and Engineering for the aforementioned Check list.
