It is fitted with a non slipper clutch gearbox the rotax manual gives details how to check a slipper clutch type. The only referance i can find for the non cluch type is "it must be inspected in accordance with BRP powertrain instruction " does anybody know what this involves or where i can find the required info.

You can download Rotax manuals for free off the internet
Try http://www.conairsports.co.uk/downloads ... %20bal.pdf
and www.rotax-aircraft-engines.com
I have forgotten which site I used.

I sent mine to Chris Theakstone (CT Aviation) who turned it around in a couple of days. The price was very reasonable from what I remember.
I made my own tool to remove the gearbox (follow the Rotax manual), posted it off to Chris and then fitted it back using the approved Loctite surface cleaner and gasket compound.
It was all a lot less bother than I thought it was going to be.
