Hi all,
during reassembly of my suction system I was pondering whether or not to add in a single regulator attached to both 4 inch venturis (an attempt to get a 2 into 1 scenario) and if it is possible without compromising the volume of suction to all three vac instruments. Has anyone done this before or know of anything scientific or otherwise, that may work or not. What I want to avoid is damage to the gyros due to over speed at cruise as the vac increases purely because these instruments didn't last that long (possibly due to being a hangar queen for a while) and thus the inquiry. I had them overhauled recently and don't want to find the life expectancy of the bearings drastically reduced if I don't fit a reg. For the electric purists - its a vintage machine with minimal electrics, so anything electric is really a non starter (no pun intended).
Thanks in advance.
Andy
