I've just connecting up my Taylor Mono rebuild and starting to encounter all those annoying issues that make you think you're 90% done, when it fact you're more like 60% complete.
I've got a 90 degree tacho drive connector on the engine case, but where I have relocated the panel back to the original position as per the plans (with the panel straight up, rather than tilted backwards), this doesn't leave enough space for the tacho cable to run underneath the fuel tank without too tight of a bend.
I'm looking - but struggling to find - a 90 degree adaptor for the tacho gauge that I can route the cable in upwards without a bend.
Failing that - if that's too costly - I'm interested to know whether it might be more cost-effective to fit a digital tach and whether someone can point me in the direction of an appropriate gauge? Falcon Gauge have digital tachos but they don't seem to keep count of the total hours, which is what I want (e.g. traditionally looking tacho gauge).
Any ideas / help would be welcome.
