HMRC Duty Relief Codes

Post by Simon Ring » Wed Jan 08, 2025 8:39 am

I am advised that the codes previously used have changed in the past 12 months and revised codes are in use for the import of aircraft parts for repair or build. I have tried to contact HMRC to no avail as they only seem interested to talk if you are a commercial entity and not a private individual.

Interested if anyone is aware of the new codes that may help all concerned when importing parts / Kits etc.

Thank you both, I’ve written down six different variants that I thought might apply, but couldn’t get a definitive answer from anyone. Tnowak, that code matches one of those I had so I’m on track.
