I wonder if anyone knows where I might be able to borrow/rent an 1/8 inch flaring tool as I'm trying to get the primer pump pipe to gascolator fitted. Or any other method of using or adapting a fitting with compression joints instead? Any ideas considered.
Thanks,
Andrew

Try a refrigeration engineer. "Machine Mart" have them but the smallest size in the kit is three sixteenths.

May be worth trying Gloster Air Parts, who are now Hampshire based. They have some equipment for hire.
I use the Parker Rolo-flair tool which has the correct flare angle for AN fittings.
