Apparently build books are specific to type these days?
I want to register a CX4 project but have to wait for FD to write the new project registration letter for it. Then he also has to work out the build stages required for the build book?
Build books were always the same if I remember correctly, and you just filled in the relevant pages and crossed off those not required (along with an inspector note saying they were not applicable). I can see why those old green books might be outdated with all the new kits, different materials ect, but do they really produce type specific books now? I may have got the wrong end of the stick, but if that is what they do, it seems daft. Why not have a build book with all possible build stages in and just have a type stamp at the front saying this type need pages 1,2,5 ... ect filled in?
