Aircraft insurance!!

Now that On Risk have ceased providing insurance who is providing the best deal! I feel that prices will go up as the new kid on the block forced a bit of a price war and now they have gone.
Maybe I am being a little cynical.

Insurance

I have just been quoted £130 3rd Party only to £1M Liability on a Group A LAA Single seat with Traffords. Good communication and I think a good price. Another Quote started at £650 but was re-quoted at £430 on questioning cover. Traffords for me.

Although Onrisk are recommending that their previous customers go to Haywards, the insurance company that Onrisk used (Alpha) now work in the UK through brokers Joint Aviation Services http://www.joint.co.uk based at Alton in Hants and have several years' experience in gliding insurance. Out of the 5 quotes I've received (over a span of £630!) Joint have given me the most competitive quote so far for my Jodel D112. However, they have been inundated with requests for quotes so don't leave it too close to your renewal date before asking them.

Traffords came up trumps for me too, I'll be going with them for the time being.

Been with Traffords for basic 3rd party only, since year two of the compulsory insurance requirement.
£130 solo covers two a/c, used one at a time.
Always courteous, and luckily never had a claim to test them out.
